Aberdeen Amateur Athletic Club

The mission of Aberdeen Amateur Athletic Club is to create an environment for athletes to achieve their potential in sport and in life.

Founded in 1952, Aberdeen Amateur Athletic Club is a Scottish Athletics-accredited, Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation.  AAAC’s approximately 400 athletes, aged 9 to 70-plus, train and compete in track and field events, cross country, hill, and road running.  Over the years, many have participated and earned medals in multiple Scottish, British, European, and world championships as well as the Commonwealth Games.  AAAC hosts training sessions and competitions year-round at Aberdeen Sports Village as well as delivering kids sessions at several other sites in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
