Granite City Canoe Club

Granite City is a new canoe club in Aberdeen who offer the discipline of canoe polo

Canoe Polo is a 5 a side ball sport played in kayaks and is played in a similar style to basketball.  the sport is played on a 35m by 23m body of water, indoors or outdoors.  there is a goal measuring 1.5m by 1m suspended 2m from the water at either end of the pitch. a goalkeeper will defend the goal using their paddle. 

the club compete in competitions across the UK and in Europe in the summer.
