JKA Aberdeen

JKA Aberdeen Karate club offers instruction in Shotakan Karate to junior and senior students. It is affiliated to the Japan Karate Association (JKA) founded in 1948 one of the most prestigious karate organisations in the world with headquarters in Tokyo Japan. It is also affiliated to JKA Scotland, JKA Europe and Sottish Karate Governing Body. JKA Aberdeen instructor Alan Simpson 7th Dan JKA has over 50 years’ experience in karate and has trained and competed at all levels. He has trained in Japan many times at JKAHQ Honbu dojo Tokyo where he gained all his current qualifications and Dan grade and has coached at international level including a number of JKA European and World Championships. He is a JKA qualified Instructor, Referee and Examiner and is also Chairman of JKA Scotland.
