Aberdeen District Netball Association (ADNA)

Aberdeen and District Netball Association (ADNA) is a voluntary organisation responsible for the organisation and management of competitive netball leagues for clubs in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Leagues and tournaments are organised in age groups of adults, under 17, under 15 and under 13. These leagues run between September and May at venues across Aberdeen. ADNA was established in 1983 with approximately six teams participating in the inaugural season. ADNA and its members are affiliated to Netball Scotland the governing body for the sport in Scotland. Netball Scotland is also affiliated to the International Netball Federation (INF).

The Organisation is managed by an Executive Committee of Chair, Vice, two Treasurers and Secretary. There is also a League Committee who oversee the rules of the district and address initial complaints. Appeals are coordinated by the Executive. The Executive and the League committee are the elected members as they have the authority to apply penalties to teams/players. Our Handbook details our governance structure.  Further sub groups include tournaments, coaching, umpiring and fundraising. Our playing season runs from September to May/June with league matches and tournaments.
We have coaching team for the junior District squads - representing ADNA nationally at under 15 and under 17 age groups
